WHAT IS EPASS ?

Electronic Payment & Application System of Scholarships

EPASS is a system of gateway to apply for scholarship and also can pay for scholarship.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is providing financial assistance to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Class, Disabled, and Economically Backward Class students studying post matriculation courses on saturation approach to enable them to complete their education.

Students who are Eligible to apply:

• Students who belong to the categories of SC (including BC-C), ST, BC, EBC and DW (Disabled) having annual parental income of Rupees One Lakh or below.
• Students whose attendance is 75% at the end of each quarter.

Students not Eligible to apply :

• Students belonging to the categories other than SC, ST, BC, EBC and DW(Disabled).
• Whose parental income is more than Rupees One lakh.
• All Students pursuing the part time courses, online courses.
• Students admitted under Sponsored seats, Management Quota seats.
• Students drawing the stipend more than the scholarship amount in aggregate per annum.
• Students of BC, EBC and DW students studying the Courses offered by open universities, distant mode, category B seats in MBBS, BDS.
• EBC students studying Intermediate or equivalent courses       

Colleges Eligible :

• All Post Matric Colleges in Andhra Pradesh recognized by Government of Andhra Pradesh/Competent Authority.
  
• The list of colleges is communicated by Administrative Departments (Departments of Higher Education, Technical Education, School Education, Health Medical and Family Welfare, Employment and Training) to the Commissioner of Social Welfare.

• Question1:Who are Eligible For RTF? Answer:   The applicants are eligible for RTF (Reimbursement of Tution Fee, Special Fee, Other Fee and Exam Fee) as prescribed by the University/Board for the course he is studying or as prescribed by the departments which paid to the college where the applicant is studying .
• Question2:Who are Eligible For MTF? Answer:   The applicants are eligible for the Maintenance Charges (MTF) or mess charges as per the rates eligible which will be paid to the student/hostel . 
• Question3:How Colleges Can get Forget Userid,Password? Answer:   All Colleges who forget thier userid,password can obtain from any District Welfare Officer(BC,SC,ST). 
• Question4:My SSC details not found in ePASS? Answer:   Please cross check in the url http://182.72.241.154:444/SSCHT2011/SSCResultsDetails.aspx 
• Question5:My Intermediate college selection says "Your College not registered in ePASS" What to do?? Answer:   Ask your college to enter the ePASS college code in bieap.cgg.gov.in login.
